There is so much we can give a complete stranger until we tell them no or politely refuse a request. The reason? Because there is a lack of a personal relationship with that person. A part of us is always willing to try to help, but when we are asked to extend ourselves it is hard to sometimes take the leap of faith and really give it our all to a complete stranger.
I am asking you today to take that leap of faith with me to help some “strangers” that I just met. Most of the people who read this blog only know me from what I chose to write and speak, conversely I only know you from your Twitter profiles, Facebook profiles, forums, and comments left here. But I do know one thing about each and everyone of you- there is an innate quality that you and I share, that you share with others, that we all share with the Universe… that innate quality that is intrinsic with your Source is that you have a tremendous ability to love and to give love. We give it all the time to friends and family, are you willing to join me to take the next step and extend that love to a total stranger?
St. Baldricks (www.stbaldricks.org) is the largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research.Volunteers from around the country pledge to shave their heads around St. Patrick’s Day to independently raise money to help support the cancer research. Here are the strangers I have chosen to help CLICK HERE.
I am extending the invitation to join this cause throughout my entire network- personal friends, social networking connections, business connections… the whole gamut. I am personally extending an invitation to you to help spread your love and help extend your love and support.
You may never meet me. You may never see any of the children you support. You may never see the joy of the people you help… BUT you will receive back the love you give out in more ways than you ever thought possible, that’s my personal guarantee! (Plus you will see me shave my head as an added bonus
If you would like to make a donation to such a great cause, please click HERE. I understand that we may not all have the financial resources to make a donation, so I ask you spread this message to at least 3 people you know and let’s help find a cure for cancer.
Many blessings to you!
